GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions.

1. How does the motion sensor work?

In a sensor mode, LumiSense detects movement within its sensing area and switches on the light. The supplier lists a 120° detection angle and a detection distance of up to 3 metres. Actual detection can vary depending on placement, surroundings and movement.

2. Does it only work at night?

Not necessarily. Night Sensor Mode responds to movement in low ambient light, while All-Day Sensor Mode responds to movement regardless of ambient light. You can also use Always-On mode when continuous lighting is preferred.

3. Can I adjust the brightness?

The supplier lists stepless dimming from 5% to 100%. This means the brightness can be adjusted rather than being limited to a single fixed level. Follow the instructions supplied with your unit for the correct control method.

4. Can I change the light colour?

The supplier lists five colour-temperature settings between 2700K and 6000K. These range from warmer-looking light to cooler-looking light. The available settings should be checked on the delivered variant.

5. Where can I install LumiSense?

It is intended for suitable indoor spaces such as kitchen cupboards, wardrobes, pantry shelves and work areas. Choose a clean, suitable mounting surface and position the light where it can illuminate the area effectively.

6. Does it need to be wired into the house?

The supplier describes it as a rechargeable light, so it is not presented as a permanently wired fitting. Confirm the supplied charging cable and mounting components before installation.

7. How is it mounted?

The supplier lists built-in magnetic mounting. The precise mounting method and whether additional magnetic plates or adhesive parts are included should be checked against the package supplied.

8. How long does the battery last?

The supplier claims approximately 60–90 days in sensor mode. Battery life depends on how often the light activates, brightness settings and usage conditions. This estimate should be confirmed through testing and must not be treated as a guaranteed runtime.

9. How long does it take to charge?

The exact charging time and battery capacity have not yet been confirmed for this variant. Follow the instructions supplied with the unit.

10. Can I use it outdoors or near water?

No outdoor or water-resistance rating has been confirmed. Treat LumiSense as an indoor light and keep it away from water, steam and wet areas unless the manufacturer supplies a suitable rating.
